Antwon Person was born and raised in Boykins, Virginia, a close-knit community where he developed an early appreciation for discipline, responsibility, and hard work values that would continue to shape his approach to leadership, business, and life.
After graduating from Southampton High School in 1998, he attended Virginia State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003. While there, he made a decision that would shape the next two decades of his life: pursuing a career in the United States Army.
Antwon later earned a Master of Science in Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology, completed executive studies at Florida State University, and pursued professional military education through the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Antwon’s military journey began at Virginia State University as a member of the Trojan Warrior Battalion Army ROTC program. After graduating in 2003, he was commissioned into the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps and entered active duty in 2004.
Over the next 22 years, Antwon served in increasingly complex leadership positions, including Company Commander, Battalion Commander, and Deputy Brigade Commander. His assignments took him across the United States and overseas, supporting military operations in Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and throughout the Middle East.
Those experiences reinforced lessons in leadership, accountability, adaptability, and the importance of building strong teams and systems. In 2024, Antwon retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, closing one chapter while carrying those principles into the next.
